No matter how many new trees are to be planted as a token nod to the green lobby, the loss of the bio-diversity & habitat will never be replaced. Time to evolve is not on natures side anymore, not with the rate that we as a species are still expanding.

 

Much more planning needed. :thumbdown:

If the £millions that they predict the new HS line will cost was invested in improving our existing infrastructure then we wouldn't NEED the new link :confused1:

 

It's nothing but legalised vandalism :thumbdown:
