I had a look at a Beech today,it has Phytopthra in addition to these Brackets growing up the Stem.

 

The Tree is Knackered and didn't come out in Full Leaf last year.

 

There is a Historical Building on one side and a busy Road the other.

One to keep in the van and find behind many a big tree!!!

Thanks Tony and Dave.I wasn't sure what it was,never seen Foames on a Beech.

 

I certainly will be keeping this one,however I think my Velcro dot technique of Bracket attachment won't hold this one.I think I'll put a spike in the back of it and push it into the ground behind any Tree at the base.

 

I'll claim that it causes third degree burns in Children and old people.Should clinch a few deals.
