3PL Hiab

I thought I had seen a palfinger hiab (not timber crane) that was a 3 point linkage mount for a tractor. I have been on the palfinger site and can't see it.

 

Has anyone seen such a thing, was it a different make that I saw? or was I dreaming.

the guys that do overhead line work use them but i think they are bolted on to the back end rather than on 3pl. you see them every now and again at auctions but they are quite rare on the market really as they dont do a lot of work. I think they are bespoke anyway but wouldnt take much work to get one knocked up, kind of in the same way that some winches are 3pl and some are bolt on.

we've got a hiab bolted onto the back of a major, home made jobby not done by us

 

its not very manourvable, cus its a a fair size crane on the back so this just stays in the yard, but it works very well! especially as we piped the grab and rotator in

Saw one today, Palfinger on the back of a big fendt. Northwest electric using it to lift down a transformer(?) box off a pole in a field. Didn't look like it was on the linkage arms, more like it was bolted on. Sorry no more help but I was doing 50 in traffic at the time.
