Somehow got onto topic of the new top handle while in local husky dealer last week and he reckoned they'd postponed it til september.

I'm thinking along the lines that since they demo'd it nearly twelve months ago and it's still not available there must have been some major problems with the saw. Which can't be good!

It was obviously deemed as crap in comparison to stihl's new offering as all their other toppers have been that the august 'massive release' that was promised had to be moved back again so they could do a total rebuild:001_rolleyes:

if it helps i called FR jones yesterday and was told that they hope to have the new husky in stock for the end of september . hope this is the case as i have 4 ms200 to replace as they have done their two year stint and its time to sell them on

cornered the SW husky rep a couple of days ago....

 

t540xp expected in october, there is reportedly a few bugs in the autotune, and they know they cant afford to get it wrong. They will be releasing a new climbing helmet and a couple of other accessories with the saw.

 

560/562xp ready to go, should be any day now, but we (the uk) will only be getting the 560xp (small bar mount).

Well its November and the T540 still not here anybody got any news ?? I have found a few companies selling them on the net but my local husky dealer still not supplying ??
