It's a good show for me, but i do think it a bit of a rip off . They charge us the exhibitors a fortune as well.

But at least all Arbtalk members can get a free beer or two from my stand, that should help claw back a bit of the entrance fee.

good job none of you lot went to the CLA gamefair then! £20 per person per day and about £60 per night for a pitch for camping or caravans, now thats a rip off!

but agree if shows like lamma can be free, then APF has no excuse, would be interesting to know how much FC are charging for the site, and how much per tree that is being felled in the harvester demos etc, cos i bet their having there £'s worth

But the game fair is more of a past time show rather than a trade fair a bit like the landy shows.

the AA and APF are trade shows and should be free like Lamma, SED, Hillhead, Saltex, Interbuild and the CV show.

I have always felt far more would attend both the AA show and the APF if it was free, as mentioned re: other shows. If Saltex can be free fr trade, using such a place as Windsor race-course, then any trade show can. And just look at the numbers who attend Saltex!! As has been said, with costs of fuel etc just to get there, this must be an important issue. Thanks Lee. Perhaps we could set up a petition on here, and present it at the APF to the organisers.

Or at least e-mail the organisers with a link to this thread, as it is in the open forum

disgusting imo

:dito:

Thinking twice about going now. Thought it would be worth traveling down to pick up a couple of bits n bobs and have a good window shop.

Need to sit back and wonder if it is going to be worth it now.
