there well over priced

They have the same RRP as a Petzl Vertex.

The foam internals come out so you can wash them. they can also be replaced with a hygine kit. The helmet takes the Peltor or MSA ear defenders and mesh visors for both brands or they can be fitted with a solid visor.

The Vertex is undoubtably a good helmet but the Stein has to be a comparible alternative.

Comfy, but the top gun visor snapped at the hinges after less than a year, and it and its replacement became scratched very badly on the inside pretty quickly from being raised and lowered. I think i prefer the petzl TBH.

I cant get on with mine,Visor is a complete waste of time. One of my visor screw is stuck on so cant get it off unless i snap the visor.

Petzl is best.

Mine is just simply falling to pieces and I'm shocked that no one from whoever imports em has said "Bring it back Mick and we'll sort it out". If any of my customers weren't happy I'd go out of my way to put it right.

what did the dealer say mick ? Like i said all makes ,models ,sizes of helmets, boots ,trousers all have some sort of teathing problems out of the thousands that are sold, speak with your dealer and see what they say:001_smile:

Yeah same with me I bought the stein lid but I got my money back, this time on the new one the bolt came off that mounts the visor.. Never again.
