I do think we realy have to think carefuly before we make to many clames about Jesus......this applys to what i say as well

But his statement is true.

Your statement is like saying we should think very carefully before spilling salt or going under a ladder, for those of us who prefer fact to fiction there is nothing to fear

could we get back on topic

I personally don't have any probs with Christians bringing up foster kids, and imo they're in there rights to say they don't agree with homosexuality, which imo has become more of a lifestyle choice than a persuasion

True, apart from the fact that its not undamaged, Revelation tells me that He still has the scars

If He is God, then He chooses to have the scars, He chooses to be damaged. Nothing occurs against His will. He cannot be portrayed as a victim of circumstance.

But you cant use the bible as a way of proving or disproving anything- that just doesnt make sense!!

Quotiing from a source that the other side of a debate sees as complete fiction is useless in attemting to back up one side of a debate- it holds no water whatsoever, in fact it is as futile as me quoting a philosophers beliefs- which would be laughable....because that is all that christianity is- belief, so therefore cannot be used to prove ANYTHING.

At best it is no more than a set of philosophies attempting to find a reason for our exicstence, at worst it is a form of social and intellectual rape!!
