newbie climber photo thread

though id make a photo thread for your first climbing photos,

i climbed properly for the first time yesterday at collage, ill kick start the thread with photos of my first proper climbing experiance and the christen of my austria duo, please add yours :biggrin:

Great tree for your first climb ED!...i climb in an Austria duo 2......great harness......but like the lads have noticed.....don,t load you karabiner through the gate....not good.....you can use a larks foot or small rubber rings to secure your climbing line/prussick....always,always climb safe!....and welcome to the wonderful world of the climbing arborist..

yh cheers mate was an awsome tree to climb tho it was relly slippy, ,, theres a duo 2 at collage, might try it out next week,, i bought the 1 a couple o weeks back as jonsie was clearing them,, and i like y=the seat, tho havnt bought it yet,

The larks foot is a great way of keeping your ropes stuck right way up on biners.

great thread idea, will scan in one of me from 17 years old up a scots pine with the old aliminium style o20t!
