Advice On Buying A New Saw, Husky Or Stihl?

I run a 36" oregon on a 395,both saws pull them fine . would look at the 390 though, a lot more modern desighn than the 66 or 395 ....and run a 32...

You wait till you've tried the 560/562XP when they come out, the MS362 will be going in the skip......

Too much plastic on the 562 for me.

Wouldnt have looked at the 362 if my 361 hadnt been pinched. Yet to find a more perfect saw. 2 mates have them still, and every time i use one I cant help but feeling a bit sad about my loss!!

 

Yeah but there's loads of magnesium in the 562; husq have deliberately stiffened up the saw with it. And then it has old school power levels and lower weight than all the other new generation; back to the good old days :thumbup: Oh and guess the max rpm?! 242 comes to mind!

I have a MS660 and apart from the fuel & oil filler caps its an utterly amazing saw, the amount of timber it will ring in a tank of fuel is staggering.

 

Whats wrong with the caps?:confused1:

 

Nowt wrong with the ones on mine!:thumbup:
