Frank is there much flex on the logjack when you lifted the large log? I like the concept but can't convince myself to buy one unless it can lift large logs frequently.

Ian, i'll be happy to sell you one on sale or return and if you're not 100% satisfied with it, just send it back and we'll give you a full refund. Would only ask you to pay for the return carriage. (I think you'll like it tho ;))

No flex at all mate its solid. Gonna buy another one shortly and make a video to show what can be done with these. Once you get the hang of manouvering it about its awesome.

Not wishing to be branded a heretic or anything but is this actually any quicker or easier than ringing up a trunk the traditional way, ie cut 2/3 of the way though from the top, roll the log 180 degrees and cut the remaining 1/3? Don't you have to keep repositioning the Log Jack after every few cuts?

Valid point to raise Len.

One important feature of the log jack is that the log is raised far enough up off the ground to allow a single cut through the whole log and from our experience and the feedback from customers this is quicker and easier than the traditional method you mention and although the log jack needs repositioned, this is a very simple process.

The raised cutting position also makes the ergonomics of cutting more comfortable. With the log raised off the ground, this also prevents the bar and chain from hitting into the ground and blunting chains.

If you watch the video link, you will see how easy a product this is to use:

Best to get some feedback from some of the users on here though as I am slightly biased ;)

Thanks for posting your thoughts - feedback is always good in any shape or form :)
