But just to show that nature is a thing of many wonders, taxol (as extracted from yew trees) is used as a chemotherapy drug.

 

Other common sources of carcinogen that might not immediately spring to mind are soot or used engine oil, and burned toast.

most hoard wood dust is carcionwhatever, so is eating to much carrots, so is sitting on your arse, could be worse you could be a welder - they huff loads of nice fumes every day. If you are worried wear a dust mask - the stress from worry will more likely give you cancer, or the fact that most of the water and food we drink is chock a block filled wit chemicals, or we nuke our food, or that cell phone, i reckon wood dust is the least of your worries - though dont get me wrong you can get a touch of farmers lung from it, especialy chipping dead elms....chough splutter etc...
