shame she had to go.2ft from listed building root lift causing major damage to foundations.windy wet winters day sat by woodburner keeping warm,phone rings from mate can you plz come and second my call on droppin this in 1,ended up climbing it to re pos the pull shackles.tight fell she came down just where we wanted.dam shame bout the well manicured yew hedges too.top fell

Looks abit like it tipped sideways off the Stump there Tane?Could you have crown lifted it untill there was enough clear trunk to have felled it through that gateway that I saw in the middle of the screen?

 

Fair enough I wasn't there,what was the reason for not climbing it?

Place a mewp by a tree rocking due to root faliure? No wonder you trashed yours:001_tongue:

 

 

A hedge is minor damage in the sceme of things. Or maybe i'm just unrealistic, uncaring and callus?

 

Shows you don't use them often.

 

The mewp would be placed behind or infront of the house.
