Am I alone in thinking that a streak of blacktop throgh the countryside is aesthetically offensive? It could have been toned down a little with some white shingle rolled into the top layer.

Get some white lines down the middle and some double yellow down the sides, couple of sets of lights at the tunnels :laugh1:

Nice work there Matt im in the processe of finishing of the new wensum way footpath it is nice to see your work being used and enjoyed

Nice looking job there. We have a load of bridges out in the west as well as several hundred metres of board walk which have been ripped up by the recent floods. We have just not been able to get to the jobs unless on foot and i dont fancy carrying bridge beams across boggy fields.

Not quite pebbledash but concrete which has been smoothed over where members of the public might brush up against it but it has been left rough on the top of the arch. Health n safety bods said falling bricks was a massive risk as the bridge hadn't been maintained for years. The contractors who did the work said it was the biggest PITA job because of the construction of the bridge and the strength of mortar and bricks.

What do your mates think of the trailway?
