It was explained to me the best thing to do if someone attacked me with a knife was run and when available pick up a brick or similar- then if they are still chasing turn and hold it up - the point being the attacker could face a brick in the face and hopefully backs off.

Never done it though:001_smile:

I made a paper brick while I was running.

Hers one to teach the wife or daughter! If they ever get cornerd buy a person and they need to break free, put their hand or hands to their mouth, puff their cheeks out and pretend that they are going to throw up making a bee line for safety as they do it. Sounds funny  but It works 100% of the time Guaranteed :thumbup1:

Savate , French kickboxing for me . Strange as it sounds if you hold your hand up to someone and shout stop 90% of the population will stop if only for a brief second . Its something to do wih the way your programmed from birth . A good jab to the face / eyes with a pencil is what I,ve told my lady to do . When I was younger and in a vunerable situation I would say to the angry person ( I saw your mum the other day ) again it throws them and there kinda lost for words . This is when you decide to either fight or jog on

Dont know anything about krav maga but i was taught some Wing chun by a friend of mine ( you know who u are ) when we used to do a spot of door work around Preston in the late 90s-2000s. It was ruthlessly effective mixed with a bit of street smart. I was never much good at it being 6.5 and 19 stone, i was to slow. Check it out
