possibley got a job doing rail clearance

i had an interview today with a company that do rail clearance and was wondering what its like to do the job? it will be my first job in this line of work so is it ok for a first job? will i get to do anything special?

 

looking for opionons so i want be offended by anything you say

If your in this industry for the long run then i think its a good experience to have under your belt, career wise. It was my, intention to try and cover as many aspects as possible, railways, powerline, LA, private, freelance, home, abroad and contracting. I think that type of work teaches you a sort of bruteish, getting on, attitude that will see you good later in your career. I must admit though, i didn't care much for it as work, a little dull for my liking. IMHO.

The little railwork I've done has been spent around 50% of the time waiting to get onto the track and the other 50% working very hard to try and get a section clearaed before you were kicked off. (all possesion work) Good experience though, stock up on gauntlets.
