one of the lads managed to put a jensen 530t on its side today, he said he did not switch it off so was burning oil. it cut out on its own accord. When i got there and got it upright it was covered in oil. When i tried to turn it over it made a clunking noise. Anybody know whats up or has it seized? cheers

are you saying he towed it while it was still running ?

 

how do you roll a 530 ??

 

is his p45 close @ hand

I'm trying to figure it out. Their centre of gravity is relatively low. We use a 530 at work and we can get it on the same angle at the truck. The towball coupling must have been knocking on the limit. If we are going to move the chipper whilst it is running we put it down to idle so it isnt moving around at full speed.
