Yes plenty when chippers get nicked chippers are avalible at cheap hire prices on the day etc.

obviously you pick and choose your not going to be mates with every competitor but its nice to have a few friends in the industry that can help you out and its allways good to help others out.

I do with one or two and it works great sharing the odd bit of kit or helping on big jobs, getting that second opinion, but I find the majority of tree surgeons quite hostile to other tree workers,

Always have one or two other tree surgeons as good mates Who you can help out and they can help you out in need and. Have the rest here on arbtalk

All the time. Were good to each other too if they've got a job nearby my yard and need to dump some chip etc then im fine with that too and vice versa. Also if a job is too far for me to go to i pass it on to someone whos closer and get a pint off them later on in the year.

If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.
