Not a patch on massey mate. Case are fairly budget machines. (now mccormick, and they really are pretty crud). The 390 was a good solid machine, the only problem was that sometimes the oil seal to the front axle would go, but wasnt too big a job to sort it anyway.

Just buy a tractor!! if you want to go fast buy a mog or fastrac, if you want big horsepower get a 9520 deere. if you want to get in low buildings get something with a low profile cab or small wheels.

 

you say you got a budget of 12k then there is a multitude of tractors you will get for that if you look further than arbtalk. internet's a big place mate, get searching

My 83 IH/case 885xl 4x4 was £3500 but it had/has a fair bit of rust in the cab. Mechanically really good though.

 

Does everyone post tractor threads, i have only been a member for a few months and im kinda sick of them already lol

Forget Case and Massey go out and buy a Valtra !!! here is one for sale on Caledonian Foresetry- Used Valtra T190 tractor 50km 2005, front suspension, cab suspension, 6000hrs, full reverse drive,

air condition and fitted with a Kesla 305T 2009 double extension loader, electric controls,
