What ammo you looking for Mike. There’s a decent variety of bullet weights to be had over here. You tried Henry Krank’s

215 grain round nose.

Norma used to make them but now only Woodleigh does and their factory burned down.

180 grainers with a flat base would also be ok.  This Rifle has Whitworth rifling and been fed a diet of cordite charged rounds. Cordite burns hot and Whitworth rifling has sharper lands so the throat is slightly eroded. Flat based bullets will obturate into the rifling a little bit, boat tails allow some of the gas to wash around the projectile and buffet it,not great for accuracy.

Yeah the cordite is harsh on barrels. A guy at club I was in bought one of the unissued No 4s that came on the market a few years back, he would not put that through it. I see a few lads casting bullets in that weight on some of the forums.
I’ll keep my eyes open.
Kynoch 😂can’t imagine it being cheap mind

Yeah that Kynoch would be dear.

Your mate with the No4 won't hurt it putting cordite through it,he probably just got confused as to why not.

His bore is more at risk from the corrosive primers if he dosnt rinse it with boiling water after shooting old ex mil ammo.

Pretty grim weather today so spent a few hours cleaning up the bedding areas on the Bergara stock “ seen a few guys online having grouping issues due to this” and mounting the picatinny rail, scope and moderator etc. Just need a decent day to get everything where it needs to be and barrel ran in.

Does the 20moa angle of dangle make the suppressor visible through the scope?.

I have a 20m of angle 34mm for my .308 but not tried it yet . How far out do you recommend before befitting from using it ? 800yds or more ?

Not as far as I can tell Gareth, I’m running tier one 34mm highs so hopefully it’s no problem.
