We've had this old stihl 08 and parts of a spare one in a shed for years. I doubt it's worth much but it might be a bit of fun to get it running.

Then I'll go back to modern saws and keep my limbs in working order. :)

Bought as a running saw..and it is

I used to use a saw like this on my granddads farm. It was a two man job. The oiler didn't work. So I would cut and he would squirt the oil on with a fairy liquid bottle. I bet my uncle still has it somewhere, I'd love to dig it out and see if it still rums

Hey Will

This one is the auto oiler .. ouuuuu luxury !! and even that is working. It did impress me how well it cuts though , Toque is real strong... it runs 3/8 chain as standard and is the best part of 60cc .You should get the one you have out and give it a go .
