I did similar things as a lad, but always to try and impress a lass, I would not have done it otherwise.

never in there long since survival time is minutes in that kinda water temperature :thumbup1:

I went surfing a couple of days after boxing day when i was over in Jersey seeing my brother, but i had a winter wet suit on and hood and gloves and shoes. Sod going in in just shorts. hats off to you fella.

Any idea of the water temp? I love getting in and have done quite a few times in the north of Norway. Not in winter though...

 

just looked it up past 2 weeks have been pretty much exactly the same if these maps are right about 2-3 degrees was temperature
