If you are the guy that is extracting huggers from the tree hats off to you could'nt think of a more dangerous climbing sceniro betts rescuing angry cats etc

Activism means taking action. I wonder how many arborists elect to give testimony at their local government meetings?

 

While conflict inspires lots of earnest questions, the content is the important thing. Who did what to whom, and when, may be an interesting reality show theme, but I prefer to move on to current topics. Can this group address content?

 

I regard these issues as important enough to discuss them. What about the 3 tree limit on cutting down trees? Our town is considering repealing the tree protection ordinances in favor of incentives.

 

What are some ordinances in your part of the world allowing?

That Willow looked like most of the Willows I've felled. It was hollow and rotten, thats what they do, they naturally fall over, re root and grow once more.

 

It wasn't safe to just leave it, you could fence it, but then you have to maintain the fence and what happens when people climb over the fence?, plus when it does fall and re root are you just going to extend the fence??

 

The problem we have is lack of planting, if there were lots of new trees coming up the loss of the old ones would not be such an issue, is there rarity thats the problem.
