Just read an article in the sun about log burners being dangerous to our health, apparently they release a fine dust which can bring on coughs & increase stress on the cardovascular system. They also believe that this dust can reduce our life expectancy by 10 months. Who comes up with this? Fry ups are now good for us according to the media, one week beer is bad for us, the next week its recommended by top doctors . It wont be long that if we want to live past 25 we musnt eat anything,drink anything,dont drive,smoke,watch telly,walk the dog,sleep,laugh etc,etc

People love bad news, bad news sells. Well, they don't actually love it but joe public thinks he's being let in on some secret conspiracy when exposed to bad news and the response is to buy and continue buying the paper. Good news gets trumped by bad news, which is good news..if you're the news.

I'd rather die 10 months early when i'm 70 plus than die from being cold now!

 

it sounds like the guy who wrote it is just another muppet sat in an office with nothing better to do!!and trying to justify to his boss why he shouldn't get the sack.

Ha ha, this made me chuckle, I'm so impressed they've discovered ........... SOOT! Shhhh, don't tell anyone or all the sweeps will start shouting about how log burners are doing them out of a job!
