Climbing kit storage!

ive got a big blue husky holdall cost 18 quid me thinks it was

Used many things in the past, including:

 

a plastic dustbin (great for chucking kit in and in the van but kept dropping logs on it and breaking it!)

 

A wheelie type suit case (great because all the kit stashed nicely and i could unzip the entire top and get what i needed easily. Looked very silly but always got comments from customers about if i'd come here on holiday!)

 

Small shopping trolly (lasted a day and decided it was just too silly!)

 

Large plasic trug (got sick of saw dust filling up in it, although i now use it for rigging ropes)

 

Now i stick to the normal and use my old bergan army rucksack. Absolutely bomb proof with loads of room and i can carry my climbing kit, helmet, saw, waterproofs, and anything else on my back to the tree and still have my hands free for holding tea! 7 years work use and 9 years travelling use before it got demobbed as a wardrobe.

I got my bag from a local decathlon store had it about 3 years now and still going well.

 

In the main compartment ive got my harness,strop, just under the main compartment is a smaller one and your can get into it from bottom of the bag opened by a zip and thats just rine for my yale rope.

 

On the sides theres pockets that are fine for all my bits of smaller gear.

Bought this Silver Bull, 18 months ago.

It's the best purpose made, waterproof kit bag that I have found.

If you bought lots of climbing gear in one hit surely the dealer should have thrown in a "husky" style bag!!??? I did with my last major purchase

I may look stupid flinging it into the mog.But its water/chip proof easy to carry and everyday starts like a holiday.
