There is a here that they call "Paineira" Chorisia speciosa, I think the comun name in english is floss silk tree, tall growing, lovely pink flower, popular brazilian tree BUT its full of spikes alot like the Robina but worse, absolut nightmare, I worked on 4 massive ones on a farm and my arms were covered in scratch marks and bleeding, its is actulay almost impossible in touch the wood of the tree with your hands.

i love climbing anything as theres no climbing roses,vines or thorns on it! Robinia is not one of my favourites

For me it has to Spanish logger wood it is full of spikes and the wood is hard as hell. Also the tannin init turns you blue.
