Really? Sounds like BS! I am on Virgin cable, no problems the only issue I have is with this terrible Vista the Mrs has installed on this laptop.

 

Can the cold effect a fibreoptic cable? Can cold effect light? If so does light from the sun slow down in the cold of space? I thought the speed of light was constant?

Get some home plugs. Cheap as chips. We run the pc, the laptop, the xbox and the wii from a four pack of home plugs. Constant speed, no drop.

Extremely sloowwwwww here! I use sky broadband and have around 10mbp plus download speeds. Other sites are like lightening.

 

Unfortunately, Arbtalk is like using a k56flex modem again... very frustrating.

 

Any ideas Mr Bullman.

Last couple of days the site has been slow for me, but in fits and starts. One minute its tediously tardy, then it'll have a burst of life. All other sites seem ok. Cleared the usual, no difference. Right now its behaving, but last night got fed up with waiting and poked a fork in my eye.

I forgot to say it is very sporadic, sometimes acting fine and then it will take over a minute to load the last item on the page... or just take an age to open other pages.

Very slow for me too takes ages to load other sites I have no problems with.
