I went yesterday and spent some money and met the crew.

I went yesterday gave justin my harness to sell. I did save £500 pound to spend, But a few days ago my car started playing up and it ended up costing me £477 to fix:thumbdown:. Once i payed to get in i'd be lucky if i could get a karibiner.

Best start saving for the other show .

Just got back.

 

Not as busy as previous years, I think the same number of stalls were there but not as many people.

 

Though we normally go on the saturday but this time went friday

We spent both days there, and tho trade seemed brisk on the stands, there didnt seem to be as many folk about this year. I suspect the ever-increasing fuel costs, the lack of fuel due to drivers strike, and the general increase in costs kept some away, at least the Arbtalk membership were out in force!! Roll on the APF, bigger & better by far. The presentations by Mark Bridge were well worth hanging around for, and thanks to those of you who generously donated to Arbtalks chosen charity, the Childrens Trust, at the end of the talk. I'm sure Steve will put up something about this later.

Andy you hit the nail on the head there! thats exactly why I didn't go would have cost over 70 quid in derv then entry, food etc a dear day out! May have done it if it wasn't Apf this year. APF is 80 miles closer and 10times as big roll on September!
