Now that is a pollard!!

 

Funny how if someone else touches the trees the "residents" are up in arms and "how lovely that tree was" and "its a shame" but the first time they need light into their living rooms it would have been ok to hack it to bits

The Sun is hardly a newspaper anyway, it's a jokebook.

 

very true, but you'll find all tabloids are the same, and they share most of the stories, including this one. not news, but light entertainment. they are the 'generation game' to the broadsheets 'newsnight'
