£350 minimum......for me the price goes up according to the technicality of the job in question.

you said you're always busy...at £250 im not surprised!!

my advice.....charge £400 a day, work 3 days a week instead of 5 for the same money...any extras a bonus!

£320ish here a day. There are still firms going out for £235 here but the don't get much work done. I've lost jobs because i've been too cheap on the quotes before now.

Pricing work was the hardest thing thing to learn for me setting up on my own. Even today, doing the work is often the easy bit

Yep doing the work is DEFINATLY the easy bit everything else is a PITA. Just trying to find the time to return calls and do routine things when you work in the business is hassle beyond belief sometimes.

We are at 150-200 per man per day.

Average min £200 for me/equipment + £125 ish/person. Depends on job, can be more or (a little) less.

Found that small jobs often trip me up so have now put a min charge of £125 on anything (within reason).

Seriously though it's a balancing act between staying busy and earning decent money. I'd rather be slightly cheaper than our competitors and having 6 weeks work in front but that's just me :)
