General Tree pics

Had a 30m skylift in today to dismantle a stone dead (3 years) Beech tree. Cut and chucked everything up to 020 size the rigged out the rest of the day. Timber lorry turned up late afternoon to help cleanup.

Last picture is how I left it for the boy to finish off tomorrow.

Rich in action again, climbing another large Beech today.

Here he is dismantling a tricky lower limb tip that went up, up and away! He anchored in to the neighbouring Beech for best access. Shot taken from 60ft.

This was the lower limb on the right in the second shot, tip nowhere near in sight!

Made the job easier by increasing the dropzone, dug up a small pine and a small Sequoia to replant when finished.

Very good job there Rich

Cheers. I was meant to do the dead beach with a crane and climb for another contractor. Price agreed, road closure organised, crane booked and timber organised to be off site. Then 2 days before the customer got cold fee and cancelled it.

That was about 2 months ago. Last week I was told I had a fun day waiting for me with another guy I graft for. Different approach with the Mewp but it all worked out well.
