started a felling job today.

 

FUN FUN FUN, love jobs like that, feel I could slmost work for free, and a burn up to boot!

today we removed a small alder and reduced two of its neighbors, in order to reveal a rather nice view....

 

The remaining trees will now be regularly managed in order to maintain the view... as well as an application pending for reduction of the beech trees visible behind the reduced alder.

forgot to mention, best bit about the job- all logs/ brash staying on site (firewood/ habitat piles). score!

small birch i done sat morning no before pic just after pic. it was topped about 2year ago (flat top) no shape or anything i thought i turned out ok
