nice job steve i love the odd bit of forrestry , looks like a great job , may sound a silly question but how come you were burning ??

started a felling job today.

 

FUN FUN FUN, love jobs like that, feel I could slmost work for free, and a burn up to boot!:thumbup1:

 

Think I feel a burn up thread coming on!

today we removed a small alder and reduced two of its neighbors, in order to reveal a rather nice view....

 

The remaining trees will now be regularly managed in order to maintain the view... as well as an application pending for reduction of the beech trees visible behind the reduced alder.

haha, nope! (but it is a cathedral)

 

forgot to mention, best bit about the job- all logs/ brash staying on site (firewood/ habitat piles). score!
