It takes some doing. I don't look forward to it, but the jobs got easier over the years the more times we've done it. It is very time consuming though.

 

That big cherry laurel hedge is about 25ft across the top at its widest:thumbdown:.

big turkey oak, throwline is 55m and both ends ended up about 8ft off the ground, i reckon theres at least 20ft of tree above where i threw to. going back to climb it properly as we were only working on a branch about 6m from the ground

 

edit, the anchor point for pic 4, wasnt the anchor point from the throw, as neither of us had a rope long enough
