Get your bow saws out you heathens!

Experiment with the VT till you get it right. Armor Prus helps. A lot.

Phenoms avatar shows a perfect example.

Mind you, you don't need one for stunt felling.

UOTE=Shreks Wee Brother;256146]disapointed that that big cony isnt in the stunt fell thread, a big fell along the path then a good shouldery down the banking into the chipper, or dragged off site with the landy down the rd, first left into a field, instant habitat woop woop

Hopefully I will be doing a lunge up top tomorrow :001_tt2: In in the style of Arnold muscle man

Saw this today on a site just outside of London, anyone any ideas, it looks like it had self seeded.

Looks like Elm..

liquidamber styraciflua

I'd say elm

Looks to me like a Liquidamber styraciflua (Sweet gum). Really great trees for autumn colour.

Just to throw my two pence in, I thought it was Elm.

Just to throw my pennyworth in I think is one of the Euonymus family, there are some small trees in this family. Could be E.alatus but think its to big for that, E.latifolius up to 4.5m high etc. But there again could be totally wrong awaiting your views with intrest

deffo euronymus family. i would say E. alatus aswell......photo taken up close and near to ground level?

The tre with the corky flutes on its twigs looks like a young styraciflua to me too! Liquid amber, lovely trees, and the rival (co dominant) stems are another giveaway of the species.

Been bugging me since spooky first posted, well finally found one today.

This is regen from ded

So Elm it is then...........:thumbup1:

Officially a sad and rather pathetic individual :blushing::biggrin:
