General Tree pics

here's a tree we got called out to in the winter.

 

i managed to get the tree out of the green house without breaking any of the already broken glass

 

we toped the tree behind (it was going to fall if left) and used it as a spa tree

then looped a rope from a tree behind the camera under the tree on the roof and used a winch to lift the tree back the way it had come.

we then pulled it round using a landrover winch and laid it down beside the green house.

 

all of this in the howling wind and side ways snow. Great fun

I work for Oregon and we publish calenders with old pictures of logging scenes which are sought after. I naturally have quite a few and can access the library.

This year Several of my dealers used these with their company name printed on them.

 

Some of the early photo's show just how tough it was with no mechanical aids at all.
