  1. Can anyone tell if there is anywhere in the UK that sell the Massdam Rope Puller. Looked on the interweb but can't seem to find a UK supplier, Cheers
  2. The IRISH FORESTRY WOODLAND & BIO ENERGY SHOW 2011 is on Friday 6th & Saturday 7th May in Birr Castle Estate, Co Offaly. The show is also hosting the Irish National Tree Climbing Championships.   3. Im studying in the Chelmsford, Essex area and am available for part-time tree work, Wednesdays and weekends. I hold an ND in Arb and all tickets but would probably be looking for groundwork. Full driving license, (not pre-97). References provided.

  7. I think it was a seedling or else it was coming from the buttress. Didnt put it there anyway.
  8. Some from today. I think the first one is young Meripilus giganteus? on Beech Then some Polyporous squamosa on sycamore and some Inonotus dryadeus on Oak.

  10. Im not sure what they are but mushrooms growing in soil/compost is fairly normal and normally nothing to worry about. Il leave someone else to comment directly on what they are and if theyre dodge.

  16. That one does look a bit weird. They keep the stakes high to give less leverage for vandals to snap the tree though.
