  1. The pores were small and i would agree with the second one being Lycoperdon pyriforme, and i didnt use a flash.
  2. are the first 2 heterobasidion annosun and the second 2 some sort of puffball?
  3. mm it is on a beech stump, also i think theres an old black ganoderma bracket underneath it all, it certainly looked like it.
  4. ive had my macbook for a year and half now and its got quite a hammering physically from being dropped off a balcony to being drowned in beer and its still perfect, have never had any problems with it, never crashed, always super fast, etc
  5. a few nice ones from this year, ID on 3 and 4 would be nice.

    hmm, used to really suffer from it but only sometimes now generally if i eat after 5 il be up forever, or if im staring at a computer screen all day studying il have to force myself to go for an exhausting long run to tire myself out, that normally works, but last night i got 2 hrs sleep just cant stop thinking sometimes, and the more you try the worse it gets

    i had a 350D until last september and then got a 20D, very happy with it, no complaints, great photos, cant go wrong

  9. holla right i have this assignment to do. im looking for good information on hearwood decay fungi. i keep finding lots of information on the actual fruiting bodies and so on, but im after information on lifecycles, what effects they have on the tree, how they spread and prevention, control etc. If anyone had any links or books they might recommend it would be mucho appreciated. cheers in advance Hannah
  10. mowed the lawns, clipped a hedge, did an assignment on horse chestnut leaf miner, on arbtalk, climbed a tree, more assignment, made cheesecake, back on arbtalk and here i am drinking wine

    today i passed my climbing, aerial rescue nptc,in the pissing rain. dont you just love the water dripping down the rope and up your sleeve? nice
  17. yeah same, all merrist wood arbs are going too, i think. should be fun
