  1. I heard that many years after coronet cuts had been carried out, when the trees were surveyed, there were very few organisms found. This was thought to be as a result of the fumes and oil from the heavy chainsaw use needed to carry these out. Has anyone heard/read anymore on this?
  2. i wear them all to death, then they get recycled. Although there are "special trainers" they live under my bed, but they too eventually get wrecked.
  3. about 40-70 quid. Trainers are my weakness, I buy a new pair about every 3 months:blushing:
  4. No visible signs of other fungus. The walls of the decayed cavity was covered all the way around. In places the buttresses were covered but not the entire way round.
  5. was beside a pathway top of a hill. amazing buttresses.
  6. Massive Beech recently felled in the valley gardens. covered in it.

    Saw the same thing in the grounds of an apartment block in Bromley somewhere. Massive old oak with a huge hole underneath. Residents said foxes have been living in it for years.

  11. you could move the bench, but its also the prime duck feeding spot for the whole lake:001_smile: I reckon about 50 people stand underneath it daily. Nothing will be done to it, will be interesting to see it progress.
  12. This is a Beech tree in a park in Ireland. Have been watching it for a few years, crown is thinning more each year. Excuse quality - unfamiliar camera.
  13. Montezuma organic peppermint and vanilla, seriously the best thing ever.
  14. I am completely guilty of going to the shop in pyjamas and drinking juice. It wouldnt be for like proper shopping, just like pint of milk on really really lazy sunday or something:blushing:
