Good condition? Didn't you see all the hollows and cavities? There were at least two families of squirrels and a honeybee hive that were evicted.

 

No, they were hazard trees. Nothing you'd want around any structures.

just a few random shots from a holiday down south a couple of years ago. large beech with cool roots is at avebury if i remember correctly and the other 2 are in westonbirt.
