Got up this morning and took this...just reminded me how wonderful trees can be.

This was a picture of one of the main stems on an ash I reduced yesterday, reduced to take wind loading off these branches which where full of bacterial cankers.

 

This picture was about 40ft and my main anchor point was on the left stem, about another 10ft above.

 

I made sure I had a second anchor if I was loading it too much

Good work! I've got two Scots to take down, one about 3 feet away from a 3-way road junction and a bus lane...not looking forward to it!
