Some nice work posted on the last few pages, that big oak is an awsome job!!!!!!!!!! Bet the old arms were knacked after lugging that 88 up there:scared1:

 

The car parked under the plain tree is classic :laugh1::laugh1: (Like the way the brash is neatly piled around it :001_smile:)

Fridays job, Ash tree, lightning strike some time back, highways wanted the large roadside limb off, the land owner decided to take down the tree.

 

Used a pulley to swing the branches back into the field from roadside limb to lessen the weight, used a floating pulley for lowering rope retrieval. (Thanks Reg)

Yeah, I think it would have gone without the weight removal but hey, it was a nice day for a climb.:)

 

sometimes a couple of limbs gives you the confidence, and its piece of mind. i have been there when they sit back and you have ran out of wedges and there are no tractors about:ohmy:better safe than sorry mate. good job.:001_cool:
