the pics are of my friend jim, and yes he had a very big smile.

im not sure of the cost of that crane it was jimmys job, but im seeing him tomorrow so il find out, the firm was king lift, they have depots through out the country and i can highly recomend them or at least the guys we had today

We've all taken down bigger trees in tighter spots, all I can think is Jimmy must be good at selling :001_smile:

 

I'd never get a job adding the price of a crane on.

 

One thing to consider is the customer is paying a lot of money, if the job is done and dusted in three cuts and two hours work they are going to be left thinking how much they have just paid for such apparently little time.

 

I'm sure he will have justified it some way

 

The other day, I tried adding the cost of a second climber onto a job and explained to the customer my legal obligations as to having a rescue climber on site (dodgy tree and for insurance reasons there was high risk to the house), I never got the job :confused1:
