Had to suffer a lads weekend away in Riga (Latvia). It was horrid, all those lapdancers and cheap beer! I did however stumble accross this ? Oak. Huge leaves. Can anyone identify it?

 

Leaves look like a sessile oak to me. Any acorn evidence?

I found some pics from the other day.

we arrived at ten to find two ugly birtches in need of some rigging over sheds and fences so being friday and all i thought id take a bit of weight off one and plop it in the garden to save a bit of time and rigging.

got them both down and was of there by 3 with no cleaning
