cheap way to empty your pickup

Yes. Bought one a couple of years ago and use it all the time for chip and logs. Flippin' brilliant. The only minor issues are that material tends to fall over your winding hand when unloading and stuff can get 'caught' in front of the wheel arches. You do need to move the vehicle forwards/material backwards halfway through a full load.

On a good day you can clear 90% in one go, on a bad day 50% when the frontmost stuff doesn't grip the sheet. Early Sunday morning just gone I sent a full load of logs down a 10' hole under a pub in about 45 seconds.

 

Where to get one... E-mail the USA and they should give you the phone number of a man in Louth, North Lincolnshire who is the only outlet in this country. No web address, just a phone number. Sorry, I don't have it any more.

The price was I think £176 all in.

This is great as ive been trying to get my hilux converted to a tipper for log deliveries. Ive contacted the firm and they retail at $159.99 for the 3000lb capacity to $99.99 for the 2000lb capacity. Still waiting for the email saying if they ship to the uk . Thanks for the info mikeyg

I'm sure Dick Robinson of Robinsons Trees used to be the agent for these. Dick used to be at all of the shows with his Bobcat/Mulcher contracting business until a few years ago. I beleive he is now concentrating on trework again.

what truck do u have it on nep, wondering what size i need for l200, looks ideal for chipping small jobs into the back, any pics of ur set up.

 

was thinking of 4x4 tipper but this may save a few £
