on the contrary......you could have just not added the offensive word in the first place as is set out in the forum guidelines.

unfortunately it seems deleting whole posts that people have taken time to write is the only way that it sinks in.

'poor do' from your end i'm afraid

Maybe you should make a list of offensive words if want to go that way wasn't as if I was flying about dropping F bombs everywhere dude.

But hey if I offended anyone sorry wasn't intentional.

timber theft is one of the worst, we must have lost tonnes in our last thinnings at a FC woodland, and I know of someone who was advertising said logs on ebay when i sneakily emailed him to ask "can you get more logs? - he replied well certainly i go to the wood and fetch what i can in the boot when the fellers have gone home! - and they think there not doing any harm - we have to fell and buy the timber, they think there only ripping off the government as he said, but they dont realise its hardworking small businesses likes ours - then you get the other end of the firewood customer "how much for a load - such and such is selling a load for £xx lower than your prices but there not seasoned" - well there you go i say, we have to fell, cut, transport, store and deliver logs oh and by the way try and make a living. j.

It takes time and money to build up your firewood ready for the winter season and now you want to realise that money... but there's still plenty of time.

Let the others knock out dumpy bags at £35... by mid December or earlier they'll be gone and like it or not customers will have to pay your prices.

I think part of the theft problem is due to the bomb site appearance on some sites after mechanical harvesting. Joe public thinks its fair game to take whatever is left as obviously it will only rot in the ground. I personally would remove all timber and brash but then I would upset the conservationists.

Same problem with arb waste, if we get a big job road side, and cant manage to take it away on day,,not a chance it`ll be there by tomorrow, so now just leave stuff in long lengths if i can,at least they`ll hopefully put there backs out lifting it,,,

Went up my land today to carry on making new shed, half my woods gone and barn door ripped off!

Looks like I'll be camping on my land with my shotgun till the little idiots return.Reported to the police, however not like they are much help.

They were as bad when I had over 2000 worn tires dumped.

Going to have to buy in some seasoned wood to stock back up

:(

seems no matter how hard I try to make my compound secure they ways find a way in.
