These have always had issues for me, the button on ones seem to pop the buttons off at just the wrong time, the snap on types seem to ping off just as your lifting a iece off wood, most distracting and inconvenient. Who makes the better braces, Stihl, Husky or other and why?

bought some oregon button on ones a while back, thought i would finnally try them on yesturday day, as soon as i put them on they popped the buttons off my hi-flex's so meh not gunna be bothering with them for a while aha

the oregon braces themself seem good qualilty although they are the only ones i have had, would like to hear more :)

Stretch air make the best quality braces and you don't have to have a company logo plastered all down them. Unless you like that sort of thing. Very little difference between Stihl and Husky. I would always advise getting someone to put some extra thread through the button holes before you wear braces.

i was always husky btuuon on as I got on well with them apart fro man odd button pinging off. Got a pair of Makita clip on ones free wit ha pair of chainsaw trousers a few years ago and didn't think they'd be very good but they work really well and don't think they've pinged ever (or not enough to remember anyway!)

sips, but i tend to sow the buttons on the trousers with 10lb fishing nylon they never move after that:thumbup1:

a wee tip though always put the knot on the outside of the button.

Used to use Stihl button ones, but the elastic always stretched after a while.

Now gone over to a diamond encrusted belt worn loose, so my trousers can hang low and show off 3-4 inches of my white Calvins.

Respect, homeys.
