I think all the rotten scum who steal from small business should have the hands/feet/eyes removed. We had a serious problem with some "Gypsies" :001_rolleyes: (Legal Fact) and although the local Police/CPS had DNA and knew who it was did not take more action.

Take as much time as possible with cautions in securing property even on work sites and ALWAYS mark it in numerous places and take photographs.

I would be interested in a remote/mobile CCTV system that sends details to a mobile phone if someone has details.

I used a soldering iron to melt my initials into all the plastic parts and handle of both my Stihl saws, then went over in black marker pen to stand out more.

It will only be a deterrent at the most, but I never leave them lying about when I have a tea break.

A determined thief would take no notice though as he knows nobody is going to go directly up to him and challenge him and look over his gear, especially if he's with the so called 'new age travellers'.

This is what I have on my containers, it works a treat.

The Snitcher - Track Your Bike Guard

All you need is a car battery and an electrical key switch to turn it on and off, car battery last 6 months without charge

If someone touches my containers, I know within 10 seconds and can and have been down there within 2 minutes. Very funny to see their faces when caught red handed

You will find it is the same group targeting you, since I caught them and faced up to them I have been trouble free. They used to trash my container locks 5 times a year
