It's true and people in big old stately homes put conkers on the PIR sensors to stop the alams being set off by spiders....

Apparently they see their reflection in the conker and think it's a bigger spider So always make sure your bonkers are shiny Dean

 

I'll put a magnifying glass infront of each conker then Lorry :laugh1:

I catch the ones that will fit into a glass. The really fast ones I jump over as they scurry towards me!

 

I was poking one with the arm on my glasses once and it was getting all aggressive and biting them!

 

Now the other half wants loads of conkers. Luckily we've got 4 conker bearing chessies that have given us quite a crop this year!

I catch them in a glass but sometimes I forget about them and go back to it a day or so later. Sometimes the glass has moved. We get big ole spider widers here Dean.
