Any of you old skaters remember Danny Way? Seen what he's up to these days?

It really annoys me these days, everywhere you look there seems to be a new skateboarding park opening, metal half pipes, the works. Back when i was a kid the nearest skate park was at romford, about 80 odd miles away.......so anyway, ive decided to buy a skateboard seeings as the parks are always empty during the school day, such a waste:crazy:

 

anyone else fancy re-visiting their youth?

ive never bin a skate boarder, more a biker, but like steve said..when i was younger there was naff all!!!! now ive regained my sense of pain they have built a big massive skate park right nr my house!!!!!

I started skating in 84, went to most of the skate parks in the late 80's and early 90's, then i went out to san francisco skating in 96,97,98,99 then back to blighty and started again. i am 38 now and still do a bit when i can.. it was my life, good old canadian hard rock mapel.

good thread! did you get round to re-living your youth steve?

stowmarket is getting a nice concrete park soon so no excuses!

 

here's some pics of me a few years ago (don't have dreads anymore!). i'm finding it really hard to find the time/energy to skate now i work full time.
