For the second time the oil cap for my MS200T (twist and lock type) has just decided to stop locking. I was wondering if anyone has had theirs retro fitted to the old style oil cap and if so how much did it cost.

These new caps are a great little IQ test.

All the grounds men I have had that could not do the caps were not much good at most things, the ones that could do the caps were great at most things!!

I love em!!!

Is it broken completely or won't lock tight? Sometimes I find when you take it out, it is already in the closed position and needs twisting round prior to putting in. Hope that makes sense. (And I quite like em, for the record!! ha ha!!)

sometimes all you need to do is turn back press down hard and turn it again, 99% of the time thats all it takes, these caps are fine, it makes me giggle when poeple struggle with them!

you love em or loathe them, at least you never have to look for the combi spanner with em!

It will lock but more too the right which results in the flap not closing flush. I have tried all above tips and have had a couple of other people try without success.

It really drives me mad because a simple component shouldn't cause so much hassle. The fuel cap doesn't cause me any bother so why does the oil cap.

Next time am getting a Husky 338XPT.
