My new firewood delivery trailer

My new firewood delivery trailer. It holds 3 cube or two 1.5 cube loads so i can do 2 deliveries on one trip. The extension sides cost me £550 with one dividing gate. If anyone wants one they can also have it with 2 gates for delivering three 1 metre loads. That would be £675.00. I think it will pay for itself this year in reduced fuel cost (less running about)and give me more time for extra deliveries. If anyone is interested pm me for more info

nice set up,,i've got the same trailer and was only today talking with tommer about mesh sides,,,,

I'm real chuffed with it. The tailgate locks with the existing handles and to unlock the internal dividing gate you just undo 2 lynch pins and push the handles about 45 degrees and the internal door will open as you tip. Its nice and strong without being too heavy.:thumbup1:

Multi-drop delivery is the way to go.

We use a 16ft tri-axle which allows us to deliver up to 6 x .75m3 boxes or 4 x 1m3 bags on one load. I find that even with 6 seperate delivery points in our fairly rural location I am actually only on the road for about 2.5 hours so 12 loads a day is easy, means we can keep our deliveries to one or max two days per week.
